If the contractors don't finish in time, no problem – at least as far as the rental period of the storage unit is concerned – you can extend it for as long as necessary. When signing the contract, if you indicate that the process may take longer, we will do everything we can to ensure the unit is available for you in the following month as well.

Our indoor storage units are available from 3.6 m² all the way up to 30 m², but if you need even more space, we can help with that too. 

What fits inside? 

3.6 m²

Our smallest storage unit at 3.6 m² is also available on our website. With an internal height of 300 cm and side dimensions of 190 cm × 190 cm, it is suitable for storing the furniture of a small studio apartment. It is also ideal for storing winter sports equipment. 

Between 5–10 m²

A storage unit of 5–10 m² can roughly accommodate the furniture of a 2-room apartment. The internal height and side dimensions depend on the square footage as well as the location of the unit. Our detailed storage search tool makes it easy to find the optimal indoor climate-controlled storage unit. 

Between 10–15 m² you can store the furniture of 3 rooms, and between 15–20 m² the furniture of as many as 5 rooms comfortably. 

Between 20–30 m² you can even store the furniture of a 200 m² apartment.

Prepare for packing in time!

Although all our storage units are clean, safe and climate-controlled, furniture can be damaged during transport, so packing it is essential. Make sure that the boxes used for smaller items are not too heavy, as their bottoms can easily tear during transport. We recommend writing on every box where you packed it from – e.g.: Kitchen, cutlery. Furthermore,

Since Raktár24 storage units are accessible 24 hours a day without any check-in, it is worth packing the boxes you think you might need soon towards the front. If you choose one of our larger storage units, consider leaving a small walkway in the middle so that the back of the storage unit can be easily accessed later.
